GameFutebolGameFutebol is a project developed for the biggest communication channel in Brazil, Globo. It is targeted at the people who love and follow the futebol (soccer) culture, and features 25 officially licensed teams from around Brazil. A series of web games simulate different match situations: free kick, penalty kick, corner kick and dribbling. Galvao Bueno, Globo's sports commentator, voices the gameplay.
One of the nicest features of the project is the multiplayer component, where people from all over the country play against each other. They compete for the highest online ranking score, and can communicate through twitter's #gamefutebol directly from within the game. People can also play the iPhone/iPad and cell phone versions of the game and still compete in the same online scores ranking.
