I've just downloaded, unpacked and ran. My server only runs smartfox server..
Can someone explain it to me?
Why smartfox server consumes so much virtual memory?
Re: Why smartfox server consumes so much virtual memory?
Hi,
what you have marked on the screenshot is the Virtual Memory usage which is not very meaningful and it can be deceiving.
If you want to learn more about memory management under Linux I suggest taking a look at this article:
https://stackoverflow.com/questions/561 ... emory-used
p.s. = the meaningful value is the %MEM column, which says SFS2X is using 5.7% of the available RAM.
Cheers
