Thanks, just take the simple Connector or the Lobby and let us know the steps to get there.
Maybe it's a platform specific issue? Over here we're using mainly Macs.

I have done some more tests. It very much look like an Udp issue with Windows. Try closing the app when it is running. It causes the same problem. Can you confirm it? I tested under Win7 32 bit.

thanks

Hi there,

Closing the app while its running does not cause an issue for us, as we do it all the time. But since you had a problem I guess there really is something there...

Yes I think so :(
Under MacOS X there is no problem whatsoever. I will also test under Linux just to see what happens there.

Thanks

UPDATE: Tested under Linux Ubuntu 12.04 and didn't find any issues, so it's definitely a Unity problem with their Windows runtime.
I will post a bug report next week.

Thanks

UPDATE: There is another discussion similar to this one that was started recently. Similar client crash on exit, which shows up in some versions of Windows while it works perfectly on MacOSX.

Maybe there is a very simple workaround involving the use of the OnApplicationQuit() method.
Please take a look here:

Sadly, OnApplicationQuit isn't called in editor mode. But that does help in standalone.
Any workaround for the editor since this last discussion happen?
I'll just be mindful to logout in the game before stopping the game in the editor but a workaround would be neat :)

I don't think there's any possible workaround. It depends on the editor dispatching the event.
A more technical explanation is provided in the Unity forum, here:

cheers

Yeah seems pretty inevitable, if the app is killed, the app is killed, can't do much about it.
Someone in that thread mentions OnDestroy but I doubt that'll work with a latent network signal.
Thanks.
