switchSpectator reverse?

Hi,

i searched for it on the forum and bumped into one where i found that there isnt any feature that switches a player back into a spectator yet. i know there is a workaround to get the user to leave the room and join again as a spectator, but any idea if a switchPlayer feature will be there in the next smartfox server update? if yes, any idea when it will be out?

At the moment this feature is not available. Usually in a game room spectators may want to become players if a player slot is available. I guess it's more rare the contrary.

As you mentioned, you can use the workaround of leaving the room and then joining as spectator.

The feature is not currently in our priority list buy we might add it in the feature
