Yes, the license is independent from the Server version.
When the server starts it tells you the BlueBox version. So in your case it is 1.0.3

I don't understand. Is port 8080 blocked? If no the problem is not with the BlueBox but it is probably with the Flash Player security.
Unfortunately the Adobe security model for the Flash Player is quite annoying and it can be a cause of endless pain if you don't know all its quirks.

We have assembled a document that tries to address all the possible problems -> http://www.smartfoxserver.com/whitepapers/fp_security/
i am unable to find the bluebox version in internet explorer it is showing 1.0 but as per u it is 1.3

The version of the BlueBox that you are running is outputted in the server console when it starts.
