Weird admin console actions....

So, I have a guy working on an application that runs on my (as if I'm the one paying for it... but I still call it mine...!) server, and I see something weird when I log on to the admin console since his extension is running.
Usually, if I want to see users connected, I need to press on a specific zone, and then on a room, and I see on the bottom left the list of the users connected, but for some reason unknown to me, now as soon as I press the zone browser tab, I see on the bottom left the new users logging into his extension... no zone is selected, no room, I have nothing on the right part of the console since nothing is selected, and I still see the list on the bottom left being populated with users logging into his extension, and only his, non of mine.
When I enter his zone, and into the lobby room, I see the those people connected to there too.
So? whats going wrong? why is that list being populated while no zone is chosen? is this something wrong in his connection process or log in?

Sorry, I don't understand what do you mean by "loggin into his extension".
There is no such thing. You can log into zones. Please provide at least a screenshot of the anomaly and the details about the server.

In any case if you find that when you shut down the Extension the problem goes away, you should really check what his code is doing.

"loggin into his extension" obviously mean logging into the zone, that runs the extension he wrote.
We have 8 games and one application running on the same server (machine: smartfoxserver 1.6 pro, unix dual core, 1 gb ram), the 8 games I wrote, plus an application the other guy made.
All are working more or less OK, but the users logging into the zone that runs with his extension show up in a list that is being populated before any zone was selected.
This can probably be 1 of 2 things, either something is going wrong with the admin console (which I doubt, since non of my 2.5k users show up on this list, yet all new users logging into his zone), or something is wrong with his extension.
What I was asking is this something that was reported before by someone else and so I could use the information to find what the problem is, or is this something new?

I have never heard of something like this before. I don't know if my colleagues have, but I doubt it because then I would have known as well.
I think your developer has created a monster of some sort

Hello Lapo, it happened again!! users logging into my co-worker zone show up in the users list before I chose a zone to monitor!! and a screen shot too!! (blurred some stuff, like ip, zone names, and user names, who knows what people troll the forum looking for ways to defeat us??):

Sorry for the delay:
do you think there's a way to reproduce it?
It could sound far fetched but recently, since Flash Plasyer 10, we have seen a few remarkably strange behaviors in the SFS 1.x AdminTool and they were caused by the FP itself!
In fact if you use FP version 10.1.x the AdminTool's ZoneBrowser won't work at all, because the tree-list component is broken
It wouldn't surprise me if this was a similar issue. Because without a Zone selected there is no way that Users will show up in the panel below.

What happens if you select one of those user names? Does the tool show the details in the right panel?
If so can't you determine in which Zone the User might be from? For example from his User Variables? And if not you could add a temporary User Variable to each player with the Zone name, just to see which Zone the belong to when this will happen again.

Well, I was never able to reproduce this, only catch it while it happens, and it does not happen ofter, I would say a couple of times a week, maybe more, and the thing is, I see there users from a specific zone, and only from that one specific zone, and I can click the zone and see them there at the same time, when I choose a user I can see the info same as it would be if I clicked that user in the real zone.
I've been using the flash player 11.3, if I'm not mistaken....
