SFS2x 2.18.1v Using Client API Got `TCPSocketLayer: Socket error`

Postby shashankpanwar » 03 Mar 2022, 11:17

Hello SFS2x team,
After Successfully receiving the events for SFSEvent.LOGIN and SFSEvent.ROOM_JOIN received the below two errors
[Thread-6] ERROR sfs2x.client.core.sockets.TCPSocketLayer - TCPSocketLayer: Socket error: Connection refused: no further information
ERROR sfs2x.client.bitswarm.BitSwarmClient - ## BlueBox Error: Connection refused: no further information

Than eventually got SFSEvent.CONNECTION no `success` in event arguments.
And sometime after ROOM_JOIN getting the SFSEvent.LOGIN_ERROR invoked

I'm using SFS2x 2_18.1 version on AWS EC2 instance and trying to connect to the server using Java client API.

P.S Didn't got the above error on localhost.

Thanks,
Shashank

Hi,
the error seems to indicate the the client is not able to reach the server directly. Are you sure port 9933 is actually reachable from the outside world? If you're running an EC2 server you need to configure the relative Security Group so that traffic TCP 9933 is open to any one.

Cheers
