Activate code in Sign Up Assistant component

Postby hoanghuybao » 04 Oct 2015, 08:35

Hi admin
Currently, I see that activate code has 32 character in the length. It is very long and make difficult for user mobile input.
I want this is 4 character only. How to implement that?
Thanks

Hi,
the code length is fixed at 32 characters. The user should simply copy it from the email and paste it into the application.

thanks

Hi Lapo,
I think that we should have an option which allows set number character of activate code. It is very easy to handle.

Lapo,
I support this idea as well, as users might not want a long token like that, and I appreciate that you are willing to add it as a feature. :)
Also I do think there should be a minimum amount of characters before you can't go any lower to prevent possible bugs. :)

Yes, I think 4 is the bare minimum, for a decent amount of security.

Hi, I think It must have 4 or 6 on mobile game. But now, SFS2x don't support. How can I custom this to work with 6 number?

At the moment it's not supported, so there isn't a way.

However people receiving the code in their email can copy and paste it into the application.
