Hi,
I'm working with the basic connection example and I've set up a SFS2X server on an Amazon EC2 Instance.
I have a main activity, one of them pointing to the connection test activity and one of them pointing to a Google Maps API test activity .
Connecting to the server works just fine, but I've found out that if I am not connected to the Internet on my phone instead of getting the Connection Error message when I press connect, my activity simply quits to the main activity with the two buttons. The same happens if connection is lost after it has been established.
So what puzzles me is why don't the two connection error dialogs never appear? I have not really modified the code to any extent and LogCat doesn't show any errors related to the dialogs either.

Its a known bug that is fixed in the ultra soon to be released minor update of the API.
Basically me being behind schedule on sending release notes to the SFS guys. Will do!! Promise

Okay, thanks .
For the time being, is there a workaround for this? I'm using it in a school project and I want everything to look and behave flawlessly .

No workarounds, sorry.
We will publish the updated API as soon as possible.
