Using handleEvent in Multiple Activities

Hi,
Just wanted to ask whether there is any way by which we can get SFSEvent response in more than 1 activity in a single application ?
Currently when I'm using handleEvent in 2 activities, the handleEvent of only the 1st activity is being executed, even when I'm inside 2nd activity.
