It's not clear what you're doing exactly. I have tested with the "official" Space War client in Flash and the related server side extension.
What I have done is a simple iOS client that joins the game, then I add a Flash client and start moving around and shooting.
I then watch the XCode console and see all the events being traced correctly and no errors.
I suppose something else is going on in your code. Maybe you can create a simple client example that we can test?
