Changing port to 443 from 9933

Postby matrix211v1 » 19 Jan 2011, 16:28

Has anyone successfully done this? I have changed it in the SFS Admin Section, Restarted my Server, changed it in the Unity code and then it doesn't connect.

It is NOT a firewall issue (I have turned off my firewall). Even if I change it to 9339 (the only SFS port) it doesn't work. Seems I am missing a step somewhere.

Thanks!

Not sure I understand the problem.

But one thing thats for sure is, that you need to be admin to run anything on ports below 1024.

And there is the classic "remember to change the inspector values - not code" if its a public variable with the port number
