fps tutorial questions

i got a few questions i try to put in my own world its working

but where can i set the spawn point of the player and the crates items

and another question i try to make the gun shoot faster there is a small delay can that be changed i look trough some script and cant find where i can change that

is it all handeling by the extension jar file because i cant open that for some reason i try the program eclipse or some thing but cant open the jar file

can some one help me on what i need for making extension files or open it because i dont know what i need for that i look up the doc but maybe not good enough

You can't open the jar file. It contains compiled classes. You need to get the source code and setup it in Eclipse or other IDE.
All informations about Extensions can be found in our online doc.

ok thx now i know that.

but i still dont know where i can find the the spawn location of the player prefab and how to fix the speed of the gun firing

if any body know that in what script it stand please post a reply

never mind what i ask i solved it i need to look at the source code what bax said and then i open the file and found what im looking for

sorry for all these post but i found in the the

src\dk\fullcontrol\fps\simulation\Transform file the y position of the the respawn of the items i change it from 6 to 2 but it wont do the trick where do i have to put in the map of the src files to make the jar to work

do i place all the folders in the extension map of the server

i still cant get it to work the way i want.


please help me

ok i read the docs again and i cant find what im looking for i put in al the java files in the __lib__ folder and it still dont work can some one tel me how and where to put the files to make the fps example to work properly

i really hate this im trying now for almost a week and im getting nothing good out of it

please tell me where to put the files and what files i need to put in a folder

You compile the source code into a jar file. The jar file needs to be placed as described in the FPS example documentation in the sfsFps folder - overwriting the jar file you got from the example.

How to compile java code into a jar is beyond detailed instructions from me. Depends on what IDE you use - if you havent ever coded java before, then try to take a look at your IDEs webpage and check out some basic tutorials there.

You can possibly get some info from this page (although it explains how to make a SFS1 extension, the IDE part is still valid)

now i understand what you mean with read the docs i just have to make a new jar file stupid of me bin almost a week busy with this small thing
