setUserVariables (at least) suggestion

While setUserVariables can be used to hold variables that update regularly (e.g. position) - in less complex environments it is being used to hold user variables that do not update.

Hence the constant confusion in these forums over the need to restrict their setting until someone has joined a room. Much of the time, these variables are not dynamic (e.g. position), but static (e.g. hair color) - more like the user name which is set when a user joins the room.

In this case, it is a lot more efficient to allow the variables to be set before or as the user joins the room - other users just receive the new user's details in the join message rather than having a separate variable update message sent out after the join.

So I'm asking for the ability to set user variable before a user joins a room. This would make simpler environments more efficient - as well as being a more logical implementation for more static user variables.

This is already possible if you use a server side extension.
You handle the login and from server side and set your custom user variables before the user joins any room.
