Connection errors

Postby sadensmol » 04 Jul 2018, 11:53

Hi.

Since upgrading SFS to the latest version 1.6.19
We are getting lots of connection errors:
WARNING: Unknown event type: , Disconnecting: java.nio.channels.SocketChannel[connected local=/172.31.10.69:443 remote=/xx.xx.xx.xx:59246]

About 1 message every 10 seconds.
From our side it's looking good all connections are working well.
What does this error mean? I found similar forum's question but haven't found any good answer for it.

We updated our flash client to 1.6.6 version - downloaded from your side.
Your server patch 1.6.19 has 1.6.5 version of client. What the hell?
Newest patch has older version of flash client?

Please update what this error means, and what version of client to use with this version of server - latest 1.6.6. or packaged along with sever's patch which is 1.6.5???

We have thousands of uses daily and if this message means some of them cannot connect to the application then we have a huge problem!!!!

It means that a client has sent data that is not recognized by the server and therefore it is likely a fake client, trying to mess with the server.

Client and server version are updated independently, so it is perfectly fine.

As I explained this is not the case.

Hope it helps
