How can i overwrite the old file, im trying to do something simple
i edited
"C:\Users\Nick\SFS2X-RC1a\Client\Flash\Examples\SFS2X-Tris.zip"
using Flex
(changing the text showed when you win the TrixGame)
then compiled
i've copied the contents of the folder
"C:\Documents and Settings\nick\Adobe Flash Builder 4.5\SFSTris2X\bin-debug"
(disengaged the SFS)
and pasted it in the folder
"C:\Users\Nick\SFS2X-RC1a\SFS2X\www\root\examples\Flash-Tris"
(engaged the SFS)
then attempted running the swf , it still ran the old version
i've also tried deleting the swf and the default version of game still ran even without the file
it gives me the idea that im not changing the correct file
any idea what im doing wrong?
thanks
OverWriting
clearing the cache allowed me to use the edited game(i changed the text where you are "the waiting for player 2") and that would show up edited, however after player2 joined the game wouldn't start, so started over, just trying to compile the game without editing anything and it still doesn't load the Tic-tac-Toe Board and chat window on the right side shows up however doesn't function
there are no errors from the compiler
im using Flex SDK 4.5.1
