What is the difference with SFS2X-Tris and all other examples? Seems SFS2X-Tris don't use sfs-config.xml and SFS2X-Tris can be launched straight from local examples directory (just put into browser address like this: C:\Users\programer3\SFS2X-RC1\Client\Flash\Examples\SFS2X-Tris\SFSTris2X\bin-debug\SFSTris2X.html), other examples can't
And how I can run examples from another computer? What should I put into browser address field?
f.e. server ip is 192.168.137.4, another comp ip is 192.168.137.5
run/access examples
Yes, SFSTris2X was built with the SmartFoxBits components for SFS2X and the IP / port is hardcoded in the Connector component.
You can open the example, select the Connector which is represented by the glossy lightbulb and change the parameters there. The Connector can also work with an external xml.

So actually I must rebuild swf?
And can I run game from another computer (192.168.137.5) (without copy swf). Something like useing http server, just input some address like that:
http://192.168.137.4:8080/examples/Flash-Tris/
SFTris
Could someone please show me where to find this "glossy lightbulb" ? Do I open any files in Flash? If yes, what files?
I tried everything to get SFSTris to work over the network. All other examples work from a separate computer, so it's not a router/firewall problem. I changed 127.0.0.1 to 192.168.x.x in every sfs-config.xml and SFSTris2X.mxml file I could find.
Question: Are the archived files at C:\Program Files\SFS2X-RC1a\Client\Flash\Examples used when the user goes here?
http://24.1.180.199:8080/examples/Flash-Tris/
Are any of these used?
C:\Program Files\SFS2X-RC1a\Client\SFSTris2X-Extension-src.zip (or anything in the Client folder?)
What sfs-config.xml does the program uses?

Also, could someone explain how I can generate my own .swf? The only .fla project is assets.fla, but the .as file and other code is separate (it's not even in here C:\Program Files\SFS2X-RC1a\SFS2X\www\root\examples\Flash-Tris
it's in the Client folder.
I'm confused why it's split up like that. Why was it all in one .fla file in SFS, but it's all over the place in SFS2? What are the advantages/disadvantages of doing it?

Other than changing the IP address on the client side, did you also change the SFS configuration? By default SFS listens to 127.0.0.1 only.
About you last question, the SFSTris for SFS2X has been created with Flash Builder, that's why you can't find the .fla file.. because it doesn't exist.

Yes, I changed every sfs-config IP to 192... that I found. - all the other examples work just fine from a different computer
I did set this in server.xml so it should be fine.
<socketAddresses>
<socket address="127.0.0.1" port="9933" type="TCP"/>
<socket address="192.168.1.103" port="9933" type="TCP"/>
</socketAddresses>
If I understand correctly as you said here ( http://smartfoxserver.com/forums/viewto ... =flashtris ) - does the SFSTris example has something wrong with it?
Can you explain what IP I should change on the client side?
Thank you for your support!

I am trying to use the 1.5.5 (smartFoxTris) example in 2X since it comes with a .fla file - I changed the IP in the .fla file, published the swf... but I have the same issue - it does not connect.
I'm using the smartFoxTris example(1.5.5 version) in CS5 (in SFS 2X) - I pointed the classpath to
C:\Program Files\SmartFoxServerBASIC_1.5.5\Flash API\Actionscript 2.0
but I still get
Scene=Scene 1, layer={ code }, frame=9, Line 57 The class or interface 'SmartFoxClient' could not be loaded.
User and Room also can't be loaded. What am I missing? Can I use the 1.x example in 2X ?

Great, I'll stop working on that dead end, but I have 2 questions now:
Question 1
As you said here ( http://smartfoxserver.com/forums/viewto ... =flashtris ) - "It seems we packed the example with the wrong IP set. " - If I understand correctly - the SFSTris example has something wrong with it. How do I fix it?
Question 2
I'm not familiar with SmartFoxBits, so I'll gladly go to the docs and study it, but how can I change it? I need some direction. The answer may seem obvious to you, but it's not to me

1) As written in that post, simply open the sfs-config.xml file you have in the src folder and change the IP address.
2) In the SFSTris2X.mxml file, look for the Connector component (line starting with <sfb:Connector and change the IP address you will find on that line).
