Here is an oddball noobish question for ya that I have been wondering for a while. As I have learned, typically user information is always stored in a database right? Meaning, smartfox 2X does not store users and their credentials by its own means to be recalled again?
The reason I ask is that typically on a non-custom login, typically a password is still a field to be entered. Since its not connecting to a database upon a normal login if I recall, whats the point of entering a password all together? This lead me to ponder the question if SFS stores or has the capacity to store user login info as there are certain things like privelages etc that can be set etc. Or does it only remember userNames and if those have any rights/bans etc?
Can someone clue me in? Am I correct thinking that in all cases, login credentials are stored on a database only?
Thanks!
