[NEW] SFS2X 2.16.0 is available!

Yup cleared cache on two browsers and as well as my phone browser and the following page loads.

Sorry, I guess I wasn’t clear enough. We didn’t change the patch release date on that page. My suggestion is to install it anyway, clear the browser cache and access the AdminTool. The latest fix (Room creation under an empty Zone) should now be applied.

Oh sorry didn't notice the thread went onto second page. Tried downloading it again on another browser in incognito mode still says downloading 2.16.0 and I installed it anyway. Same thing, submit button to create room in zone with no rooms does nothing whereas a zone with rooms works. If there was an update shouldn't it at least say 2.16.1? Is there no other place to download the new patch?

Sounds like the patch wasn’t uploaded correcty then. I’ll check and let you know. Thanks for reporting.

We just verified, and the patch fixes the problem as expected. Something else is going on on your side.
Did you check the patch installation log? You will find it inside the patch folder. Any errors there?
When started, does SFS reports the high version number? (2.16.0)
Is the AdminTool version 3.2.1? (this is printed below the login form)

Says the admin tool is 3.2.0 in the top left and the server version is 2.16.0 in the top right after I login. Tried using Opera's VPN, tried my own VPN, tried without a VPN altogether all in incognito mode. Tried my laptop which I never used to access smartfoxserver.com until now with incognito mode and two different VPNs. Still the same 2.16.0 update. Did you create a fresh server with installing 2.14.0 first then update to the latest patch? Because that's what I've done.

Not sure what is going on with your installation.
We just made a full test and everything works as expected.

- Downloaded and installed v2.14
- Downloaded and installed patch v2.16
- Launched SFS and the AdminTool (in a private Firefox window), which now says v3.2.1 below the login form

Did you try these steps from scratch?
