building extension with gradle 6.0.1?

Hey everyone,

after a long absence, i decided to get back to an old project of mine and continue working on it.
one thing i decided for is to not only use the old server project again, but upgrade it to 2019.

One thing i wanna do is to use gradle for the build process of the jar file.
has anyone done this so far and could help me with some hints and tips?
