My web socket users are disconnected every roundabout 100 seconds. Log just says "Session removed"
However, I have Session and User maximum idle time set to 3600 in the Main configuration and "Overriden user maximum idle time" is set to 21600 on the Zone.
Which configuration could lead to the reconnections?
User disconnect after every few seconds

Re: User disconnect after every few seconds
Hi,
it is very unlikely this is due to SFS2X. The server never disconnects anyone besides the timeout setting you've mentioned, and for that timeout there's a specific log message.
It might be a network issue of some sort. Does it happen regularly for every connection? Or is it random?
Thanks
p.s. = you can try connecting the same client to an SFS2X running in your local network and you'll see it never gets disconnected, unless there's an idle timer. And even with that you get a different log message stating the cause of the disconnection.

Re: User disconnect after every few seconds
Is SFS2X running in a dedicated hosting?
Are clients connecting from the same country?
Thanks

Re: User disconnect after every few seconds
It's a root server. So far it's the same country, because we are testing the server and have no testers from other countries. But everybody has the SFS2X.SFSEvent.CONNECTION_LOST after almost exactly 100 seconds everytime (just took a few measurements now)
Re: User disconnect after every few seconds
Interesting. Can you give us the IP of the server and Zone name to try and connect from our side?
If you prefer you can send them via private message.
Thanks

Re: User disconnect after every few seconds
We are having the same problem, but instead the disconnections come RANDOMLY not regularly at 100 secs. We have had testers from abroad and consistently testing here (server hosting is nearby location). Locally speaking, I don't believe it is a networking issue as pings are good from here to the server...We have experienced this random disconnections for both offsite and onsite testers.
So far we have done the following:
- Increased SFS configurations Idle time, etc to a unusually large number
- Implemented custom ping pong signals between client and server that is set for every 15 secs
In order to fix this issue I am thinking to do the following:
- Implement SFS LagMonitor
- Lower the custom ping pong to less than 15 secs
At this point I am out of options...Any suggestions?
The only other thing I can think of additionally is going thru the firewall...
