Hi all.
In my Office I have several computers and I want to test the game before I upload it to the cloud. When I play the game on the computer on which the server is installed everything goes normal, but when I try from another computer that uses the same network, the server does not connect.
I use SmartFoxServer 2X.
I want to ask if there are some documentation or tutorials on how to configure my local network?
Have you any idea where the problem is.
Thanks.
SFS2X local network connection problem
Re: SFS2X local network connection problem
Hello,
and welcome
When you run SmartFoxServer on a different machine you can have issues connecting if there's a firewall running either on the server machine, the client machine, or both.
Typically it's on the server side. To solve the problem check the computer running SFS2X and if a firewall is running ensure that TCP port 9933 is allowed to communicate.
You will also need TCP port 8080 if you want to connect to the AdminTool via browser.
Hope it helps
