Re: What kind of Server configuration need for more than 1000 concurrent users
Hi,
it depends on the game, a fast real-time action game may require a 4 core machine and 4GB of RAN. Instead a turn-based game could probably run just everywhere.
Typically 1000 CCU is not much of a problem for SFS2X on any hardware.
What kind of game are you creating?
Another question is, will the machine run SFS2X only or will it also run other services such as a webserver, database etc...?
Cheers

HI,
My machine will run database, Apache, nginx server with Web service.
My game is card base (turn base) game.
So 4GB RAM with 4 Core enough right?

Yes 4GB is good and you can upgrade to 8GB in the future if you get higher traffic.
4 Core CPU is also fine.
Cheers

So will a Linode work for the server?
Can someone describe the pro/cons of using Linode (vps) vs the suggested cloud solutions?
