Hi,
I made a game like Poker, the game have many rooms and tours. I want to place my server games on many places like Singapore, American, ..., and all my user can play together. So, what is a good architecture to achieve this? Now, I'm writing the server with SFS2x and MySQL.
Please give me some ideas and start point. Thank you.
How to scale my game to world?
Re: How to scale my game to world?
Hi,
this is a huge question, not one that can easily answered in a support forums.
What you're asking is pretty difficult to achieve without making some compromises. Servers running at 1000s of miles away from each other incur in high latency which in turn causes major performance and scalability issues. Building a cluster that way is going to be very complicated.
I would highly recommend starting by reading these white papers as a starting point:
-> SmartFoxServer 2X Server Architecture
-> SmartFoxServer 2X and Hazelcast integration

Hi Lapo,
I have a similar question. Was there any update on this thread or in your discussion?
