SFS2X Jetty not using cache

Postby clam61 » 11 Jul 2014, 23:04

My configuration

Jetty is running on IP ending in .76, port 8080 for standard HTTP and 8443 for SSL
SFS2X is running on on the IP ending in .76, port 80

I have a few virtual hosts set up.
IP ending in .75 is what maps to my www website domain.

I have ProxyPass set up so that calls to to Apache on .75 are forwarded to Jetty on .76:8080, i.e.

.75/path are forwarded internally to .76:8080/path

Right now if I point the browser to .75/path/someswf.swf I will always get a new file. The cache will never be used.

Anybody have an issue like this? Is this due to the port forwarding?

Have you checked the details of the HTTP response? Maybe there's something going on with the Cache-Control parameter.
Also what SFS2X version are you using?

Lapo

Thanks for your help. Long nights of SFS2X server programming have left me void of any logical deduction.

The browser request in safari has a no-cache pragma argument.

So it is not a SFS2x or Jetty Issue.
