Problem logging on to admin console on Amazon EC2

Postby vooood » 03 Oct 2011, 07:22

Hi,

I've got a free machine in amazon ec2 and just installed sfs2x on it.. the problem is that I can't login to the admin console because i get the following error:

03 Oct 2011 08:28:10,033 WARN [pool-1-thread-2] entities.managers.SFSExtensionManager - com.smartfoxserver.v2.exceptions.SFSLoginException: Admin login refused to user 'sfsadmin': invalid TCP port

i have all needed ports open and added my IP to remote access in config/server.xml

what else can be wrong?

Look in the config file.

Their is iplist of those that are allowed to access, remove them :)

This may be a stupid question, but did you restart smartfox server after changing the config?

In the server.xml file make sure the <allowedRemoteAddresses> parameter has no entries. You may also set the <adminTcpPort> param to -1.
(you will need RC3 version).

It is unlikely.
But you can try via the BlueBox. Did you read the documentation?

No, and anyway it wouldn't be recommended.
Lapo was referring to your application/game clients, which can use the BlueBox.
