rc3 patch update

hi, im updating to rc3,and now dont work.when i start smartfox, then crash, and close.i cant see any errors.when i install the rc3 patch, say instalation is ready, but crash and close.i clean the cache , but is the same.what can i do to fix?

I had similar issue when updating.

Please look at the SFS2X/logs/smartfox.log and write last couple of lines

Are you on Mac? or Windows?

What is crashing if I may ask?

I can see it running like it should on log?

Do you mean the SFS2X.exe crash everytime you want to start it?

Describe a little more


I had similiar issue on my Mac, so I did.

1. Uninstall SFS2X
2. Install SFS2X RC2, install and DONT RUN
3. Update RC3, install
4. Restart computer and start.

yes, when i start sfs then , open and close inmediatelly.First i have the rc1b,i think, and all works fine.Then install rc3 with install.bat, because patcher.js say could not found the main class.I did the same in other pc and works fine, but in this , i dont know why close everytime i start.

Can you try to remove everything and do it like I told you

Uninstall and then restart.

Please keep in mind to shut down SFS2X service before updating, I don't know if this is handled automatic, but just in case.
