[SOLVED]Creating Room from zone conf vs zone monitor

Hi,

as a followup to rjgtav's reply in my other post :

it was in wrong section so I decided to reply in here.

I have following situation:

when I create a room from zone configuration, room name is grey and it does not show up under zone monitoring section to monitor also when I call smartFox.roomManager.getRoomList() I get no rooms.

but if I create room under zone monitor section clicking "new room' it has option to activate it, but now that room it does not show up under zone configuration.

so two issues with that:

why is there a two different ways to create rooms? and what is the difference
and how do I activate room created under zone configuration.since its not showing up under zone monitor.

found a problem accidentally.

apparently creating rooms from zone config allows rooms to have names bigger then setting that governs max room name size. so if room has name bigger than that setting that room is getting grey treatment and if you restart server it disperses completely.
the way I found out was when I tried to create that room from zone monitor with large name. it did not allow me to do that there

hi. This is interesting.. Regarding your question about the different ways to create a room, if im not mistaken, if you create a room in the Zone Monitor, the room will be added if it meets the zone.s requirements, but will not be added to the zone.s config, so, after you restart the server, the room won.t appear again. If you add a room through the Zone Configurator, it will be added to the config and activated if it meets the requirements. In this case, i think you need to restart the server for it to appear.
Im not sure about this and will check when i go to pc
