Java extension trace() in Admin Tool?

Postby heovespa » 23 Mar 2011, 06:01

In SFS 1.66 Pro we can see trace() of jar extension in the Admin but i can't find anywhere in SFS2x Admin Panel to see this feature. Is it available in SFS2x? :D

i would love to have that too.

There is a log in the admin tool (the little book icon in the bottom right) but it doesn't show traces. Can we somehow enable it to show the same messages as the console?

you can run the server in standalone and your traces will show.

that's not the same thing.

I'm running the server on my vps with sfs2x-service start whenever i want to see the console i have to stop the server and start it with sfs2x.sh. It would be a lot nicer if i could simply connect with the admin tool and see the error messages/traces that occurred.

I'd like to be able to see server trace messages too. Can anyone elaborate appels's method of running a standalone?

Edit: I'm silly. Answer lies in this thread:
