Extension reload: destroy called after init?

Postby wallis2xk » 04 Mar 2011, 11:26

When reloading an extension, the destroy of the old extension seems to get called after the init of the new extension, is this correct?

Yes it is done on purpose.
Before we destroy the old extension we make sure that at least the new one can be initialized otherwise the system will break.
That's why you first get the init message and then the destroy of the old extension,

Good info, as I started to worry about destroy calls after init.
