Hi,
In our logs, sometimes I got this error and we don't know why it occurs, and we really want to know and fix it.
Exception: java.lang.NullPointerException
Message: *** Null ***
Description: Error during event handling: java.lang.NullPointerException, Listener: { Ext: Admin, Type: JAVA, Lev: ZONE, { Zone: --=={{{ AdminZone }}}==-- }, {} }
Could it cause the game crash
Additionally, stats extra logging is open and log activity is open in thread pools
Thanks.
Unknown error
Re: Unknown error
Hi,
what SFS2X version are you using?
Very unlikely because the error happens when executing an AdminTool request, which runs in separate Zone.
This error seems to indicate that an AdminTool request failed.
Cheers

Re: Unknown error
We are using 2.17.0,
So, there is another question.
We are using Database Manager, Maximum # of active connections and Maximum # of idle connections are 50. Exhausted pool action is GROW. We have approximately 200 CCU. Is it okay or should we increase numbers? I asked it because of sometimes our game crash which is we don't know yet why

Re: Unknown error
The database numbers are fine, and with the GROW option the number of connections to the DB can grow indefinitely if needed (i.e. if the traffic increases)
As regards the "game crashes" it's not very clear what do you mean.
The server crashes?
If so, what happens exactly? Does the process actually die? Or is it something else?
Any error logs?
Let us know
