Hi. We are working in a MMO project that uses two kinds of maps; big stages of 1940 X 1280 pixels, and small stages (like internal rooms) of 970 X 640 pixels. The game appears on screen with a default setting of 970 X 640. In order to get a wide or close look into the actions in the big stages, programmers added a "zoom in" and "zoom out" feature. This feature is disabled in the small stages. However, that feature seems to be causing problems with some foregrounds that appear in wrong places of the stage; and with the small stages that, sometimes don´t even appear in the game except when the zoom in is activated. As I said, the viewport is 970 X 640, so zoom should not be requiered. Apparently, the problem is related to the default camera from open space or we are making something wrong with it.
Maps, depending on their size, are build with the same features (width, height, customLimits, HOffset, VOffset); so, we don´t know what exactly is causing these problems. Is there a way to fix it in open space by redefining the camera position, or setting the maps limits?, or it depends of fixing the "zoom" feature?
Thanks for your help.
Maps with "zoom" effect.
Re: Maps with "zoom" effect.
Very hard to understand what is going on.
About the small maps not being visible sometimes, can you try making the viewport a little smaller than the map? So that they don't have the exact same size.

Thanks for your advice, we´re going to try it, and see what happens.
