avatar "jumps" when changing route while moving

Hello,
when avatar is walking (after clicking a tile) -
clicking another tile -
many times results in the avatar "jumping" back to another position.
this happens even with one avatar currently in the room.

This happens when working with a remote server only (not testing locally).

any solutions?

I forgot to mention were now using:

SFS PRO 1.6.9
OpenSpace 2.0.3
