found the prob ;)

deleted the wrong callbacks ....

Now unity uses the responses but does nothing after that...

I think i have to join a room first or send the roomlist manually?

I dont know how to do that. I use the loginExample.as

I think i have to add _server.joinroom and/or _server.sendroomlist

Right?/Anything else?

Thanks
Robert

you have to set them yourself, you already got the username from the login gui.
smartFox.myUserName = user.GetName

and my game is still on :

Cheapest for you would most likely be some virtual slice in the cloud - EC2 or similar. Not been keeping an eye on prices, so cant help there

How finished is your project? Can we play it anywhere? Have you a trial SFS license?

I mean, with a trial license and a good set up for your computer, it would be enough. You won't have more than 20 players at a time.

IMHO, Renting a good server and upgrading SFS license goes together. And that would be an initial inversion of 1000€ aprox.

In the other hand, you can rent a cheaper server, with less capability for testing purposes. In this last case, you would have to find the cheaper solution, not the better=expensive option. You can find VPS for less than 20€, and they will satisfy your SFS trial server requeriments.

When you take a few years in indie game development, you try not to invest too much in something that is not really solid. No offense. :)
