Maybe some expert can help me with this. I'm using unity+iphone and I have a sendmessage into a FixedUpdate method. The method sends the player location to the server.
The problem is when the connection goes slow, it doesn't get out of the method until is done sending... so suddently my player is stuck there in screen.
As far as I know, iphone doesn't do async so I'm not sure how to avoid this unless it's using udp, which is not supported by smartfox. Is there a way to avoid this major player update delay on the game while sending the information when the connection slows down?
