Dynamically creating rooms from client.

Postby PostImagineering » 01 Sep 2009, 14:03

I am trying to create a room dynamically but can't get it to show up on the server. I am using Android and used the example in the header file using Maps but must be trying to create it at the wrong time. When I call getAllRooms first, I get a zero size even though there is already one room created statically on the server.

I currently am evaluating this product using the Lite version of SFS.

Cheers,

Hi,

The java API is not compatible with the Lite version. You can use Basic or Pro versions. Both have free versions(limited to 20 users).

Oops, I was wrong about the version of SFS I am using. I am using the Basic free version for my evaluation. Sorry.

I figured out my problem, I was trying to create a room after I logged in, but I needed to create it in the OnJoinRoom callback. I would have liked to have called it before joining a room.

Thanks...
