"connection fail" when using smartfox after instal

Hi,

I am using smartfox red box example for my project here. It working fine in localhost. But when I move it into my VPS (window 2008 server, 64 bit). It give me some problem. I can start Smartfox server in my VPS, but when i try to access my website, the chat application fail in connecting the smartfox server. The chat application will stop and display

Connection Failed!
Server IP: xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
Server Port: 9339

I don quite sure what the problem is, but i did configure the IP address correctly in the "config.xml".

Can some1 there give me a help or hint what the problem is.

hi thr,

problem solved, this is cause by i didnt set an exception for port 9339 in my firewall setting. So, an exception for port 9339 will definitely solve the issue.
