H2 Database Question

Postby coolboy714cp » 30 Oct 2010, 17:53

I was reading through the SmartFoxServer Docs recently and I decided to work on a few things with the H2 Database. But, when I went to this link:

http://localhost:8082/login.jsp

Instead of opening the database logon, it tried to get me to download the file "login.jsp". How can I get to the main database login so I can setup the database?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, as far as i know, i think its because of your browser that doesnt support jsp files. Google chrome and IE support it

I thought so too, so I tried Google Chrome and a site came up saying this:

HTTP ERROR 404

Problem accessing /login.jsp. Reason:

/login.jsp
Powered by Jetty://

Does anyone know why this is coming up and not the database login?

Did you run adminDb.bat before you try to login?

Actually yes. I forgot to post about that.

When I ran the adminDb.bat file, the CMD came up and closed really fast. I could see some writing in the CMD but it was so fast I couldn't tell what it said.

I was on Teamviewer once when this happened and it lagged a little and it looked like it said some thing like Java is not recognized or something like that. I'm not really sure about that but, after the CMD window closed, nothing happened. No Internet window came up.

You'll need to install Java RE. http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp
