I come from a strictly web development background when creating games. I used AJAX and polled the server for updates. Now I am learning Unity3D to make games and am opting to use SFS to make the games multiplayer over, but I'm having trouble wrapping my head around the concept of how to do this. I've been going over the examples included in the API and the documentation, resulting in a big headache.
Right now I'm trying to simply achieve synchronized movement of 2 "characters" (which are just cubes) on the screen. I've gotten the client to connect to the server, but I can't figure out how to make the other logged in characters show up on everyone's screen and then sync the movements. It seems like this should be fairly easy, but after several days I'm still lost.
