Force server to connect to DB via specific NIC?

Hi.

I'm looking to set-up a Smartfox server with two NIC cards. I intend to dedicate one NIC for client connections, and have the second NIC be dedicated to the DB connection. How do I do this?

You can bind the server to your preferred IP address, hence using the NIC card you prefere, but I don't think there is a way to tell the server which of the two cards to use when acting as a client towards the database.

The problem is that this happens at a "lower layer" in the operating system.
Example: I have 3 cards in my laptop (wireless, cable and virtual nic) but I can't decide that the browser uses the cable, the IM uses wireless etc...
