Hello, I am experiencing this strange thing:
I installed SFS server on a Linux machine, it worked fine.
When I tried to login today, it said "username already in use".
SO I changed username/pwd on the config and restarted it, but now it doesnt start anymore...
I call ./sfs start and it starts... then for 10 seconds on ./sfs status it says that the server is running, but then it doesnt run anymore...
After trying a few times, I got this message:
Removed stale pid file: runAsService//SmartFoxServer.pid
What could be happened?
thanx
Filippo

You have probably used a password with less than 6 characters.
For security reasons you should use passwords longer than 6 chars.
In order to check what problem prevents the server from starting, check the wrapper.log file inside the runAsService/ folder.
Additionally have a look at the log files inside the logs/ folder.
If you need help copy/paste the errors that you receive.
