I am not sure if this is possible but can I integrate a Smart Fox Bits application with PHP. This would be basically just for logging in. Eg. Can I send a variable to PHP and back to Flash vice versa to check usernames and passwords. Help would be appreciated.
The SmartFoxBits' LoginBox component do not support external username/password validation.
But you can still achieve this by using SmartFoxBits in conjunction with SmartFoxServer PRO: you can create a custom login procedure using a server-side extension. When your extension receives the login request from the LoginBox component, you can have a server-side LoadVars calling the PHP page to validate username & password.
This doc page explains how to implement custom login. You just have to add your own logic in the server-side code to contact the PHP page to validate data.
