Connecting to a Python application

Hi,

I am a newbi to SFS so may be this topic is covered in tutorial (although I couldn't find it).

I have a python application that I like to run on the server end. My client is running flash inside a browser (as3) and I want to connect the client to the server where the server is SFS 1.6.

Can anybody point me to some docs which shows me how to do it?
