How would I classify my user as mod...

Postby Viktor » 11 Jun 2011, 18:08

I don't use a password login, since my game classifies users by there username on the website it is hosted.

I was wondering how I could make my user Viktor be a mod, while it doesn't have password log in.

To define a user as a moderator in SmartFoxServer 1X, you would use a command such as:

Code: Select all

smartfox.amIModerator = true;

This is not a password log in though.

if so, how will you prevent that a user with the same name as a mod from becoming a mod?

The login box is a dynamic text box, thus when it declares the username of the user from the website, you can't change it.

in the config.xml, have you tried adding a mod by entering his name and leaving the password empty?

I doubt that would work, this is nowhere near a customLogin.

I shall try maybe...

well, so you dont have much choices available. The best was to use a custom login, almost like everyone does. Maybe someone has other ideas?
