Re: Extension upload fail
As a recap of the issue, it turned out the server was hosted in our Overcast cloud service, but behind an external, third party proxy server not under our control.
Activating the “Enable X-Forward-For” option in the AdminTool > Server Settings > Web Server tab fixed the issue.

Re: Extension upload fail
Would you be able to provide us a temporary access to your AdminTool?
We would like to test this behavior from our computers.
If yes, please contact us by email at info@smart... referencing this post.

Re: Extension upload fail
What version of SmartFoxServer are you using?
What AdminTool version?
Also, is the error occurring every time you try to upload the Extension, or sometimes only?

Re: Extension upload fail
Did you check the server logs? Any error reported there when you try to upload the Extension?
Also, can you please check the JavaScript console of the browser, just in case something is reported there?

Re: Selling SFS 2X 2000 CCU Perpetual license
Yes, reselling is allowed, provided that we are informed. We need the owner to inform us that the license is sold, providing the contact information (name, company, email) of the new owner. We will then contact the new owner, create their account in our licenses management system and provide a new l...

Re: Multiple Client instances
There's no "identity" parameter passed to the listener because we never thought of this use case. Maybe we can add it in the future. For the time being, I guess you could have an object with all the listeners and a property identifying it. You can then pass that object as the scope when ad...

Re: Can't play Tris example for Unity3D
We tested the Tris example on your Overcast server and it looks like everything works perfectly, as expected by the way. 1) You posted two screenshots, both showing "Waiting for your opponent". I suppose on both client instances the player clicked the "Start new game" button, but...

Re: Can't play Tris example for Unity3D
The AdminTool unable to display the runtime logs, the game not working as expected... definitely there's something wrong in your installation. Instead of using the AdminTool, I'd suggest to run SmartFoxServer in a terminal and check the output directly while running the game. As an alternative you c...

Re: Can't play Tris example for Unity3D
I'd suggest to check the server log. Look for errors or warnings which should explain what is going on.
The example works fine on our computers, so it looks like a deployment issue on your computer.

Re: Can't play Tris example for Unity3D
The problem is the deployment of the Extension. You should deploy the Tris folder only, not the full path from the example zip file. In other words the Extensions folder on the server side should look like this: > /extensions ---> __lib__ ---> Tris ------> TrisExtension.jar Re-deploy the extension, ...

Re: Admin issues after Upgrade from 2.16 to 2.18
I would like to add that after the suggested fresh install, you check the AdminTool before moving your files from the old installation.
If the error persist after a fresh install, try clearing the browser cache.
