its very easy to sniff and change the data that is sent to the server. I suggest you develop your platform so that everything coming from the client is considered malicious and is validated.
There is a lot of threads about this already so I suggest you use the search function (up to the left).

This really looks great.
It looks like its not that much to recode for us at least.
This was actually the only concern we had about Smartfox that it wasnt scaleable but now it is. Good work! Go Smartfox!

Also when distributing a 'stub' or a loader that loads your content from your server you have to set up all crossdomain-xmls correctly. There can also be a problem cos the big portals dont want to move thei...

Your game is pritty much secure you cant hack much becuase director cannot be decompiled as you would say because as you know its protected, So you can only stupid stuff like change the ways it sends the uservariables. Be aware that you can always 'decompile' and debug any program. It will just be ...

I have done a (almost) complete port to director. I started out with making a bridge but then i made a port. I would say it's about a week or two of work to do a port. Its nothing hard to do, it just takes some time cos' there are a bit of commands to port. b.t.w The port to Director/Shockwave is av...

you will have to build you application and benchmark it and see how many users you can have online. If it gets below what you expected then you'll have to cluster the servers and that is a bit of work. Its impossible to say how many users you application can handle. Its like saying how many applicat...
