How to use user variables

I'm trying to use user variables, but without success at the moment. I have this code to subscribe: smartFoxClient.AddEventListener(SFSEvent.USER_VARIABLES_UPDATE, OnUserVarsUpdate); then this to set some values: List<UserVariable> userVars = new List<UserVariable>(); userVars.Add...

At the moment I am using the core communication to send position and rotation to other players, so probably I won't be able to use UDP for that as it is done not in the server extension. Is this a wrong model? Should I use server extension for that and UDP?

Today I switched from SFS1 to SFS2X. Not a lot of work, but also not trivial. C# API description was helpful during the migration. I think that SFS2X API is better organized than the old one. At the moment I still use TCP and SFS2X supports also UDP. Is it possible to use both at one time?

Here: http://www.smartfoxserver.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=2126&highlight=user+limit is an information that limit concerns logged users, so I assume that in fact there can be more connected users (more than the licence limit). According to that I probably have to check this in OnLogin rather tha...

Migration from SFS 1

I'm still starting my project and for basic network communication I use code supplied with SFSIsland demo. However, now Im thinking that maybe it will be better to migrate to version SFS2X before I start to implement more complex things. Of course there is FPS example, so I will base on it during th...

The maximum client number

I'm curious what will happen when the maximum number of clients is reached in SFS demo? It is hard for me to run my application 20 times. It's probably not the same message that occurs when room limit is reached because this message is displayed when you are in fact already connected to the server. ...

i may have a solution first it depends on how your server is, mine has a static ip attached via an awful old school firewall redirect and a completely external dns server which adds the domain name separately so if i used the domain name rather than the ip then it started getting confusing and poli...

After a lot of hours lost on this problem it is still not ok, but I have some new conclusions. First of all BlueBox works well in standalone mode (Unity3d build option), because policy file is not needed. However, I noticed that BlueBox still sends it when connection is established and this is too l...

2 things seems to confuse me. Policy file and crossdomain.xml is NOT the same from what I know. Policy file is served by SFS, but crossdomain.xml is something completely else. At the moment I know that SFS does not use crossdomain.xml file, but generates its own one. Of course I can make it to use ...

It is possible to add under: <AutoSendPolicyFile>true</AutoSendPolicyFile> this line: <ExternalPolicyFile>customcrossdomain.xml</ExternalPolicyFile> This will force SFS not to use automaticaly generated policy file. However, this does not help for my problem. Is it really not possible to have BlueBo...

It seems that I have the same confusing issue in my last post here:
viewtopic.php?t=9788
Everyone asks to check crossdomain.xml file, but it looks that this file is not used at all.

Sorry about post under post, but today I noticed another very strange thing. When policy file is taken from the server I see: [SFS DEBUG] [ RECEIVED ]: <cross-domain-policy><allow-access-from domain='*' to-ports='9339' /></cross-domain-policy>, (len: 91) no matter what I write in crossdomain...

Generally Bluebox works now but not in the corporate network... At the moment I use port 9339 for Smartfox and 80 for Bluebox. It is possible to write: http://SERVERIP:80/BlueBox/ and see successful screen from PC in corporate network. It is also possible to connect using Bluebox from PC not in the ...
