Re: WebSocket binary message max size

Can you show me exactly how this problem can be reproduced? I assume it's just the size of the message since it works up to a certain number of keys in the SFSObject. But in my particular case I'm looping over a database result with 350 records and adding SFSArrays to an SFSObject like: SFSObject l...

Re: WebSocket binary message max size

Not sure if this is related but I'm also running into message size problems when sending larger messages. Getting a BufferOverflowException when sending a SFSObject with 350 keys. Sending a message with half of those keys works. (I tried changing the maxWriteBufferSize but that didn't help) ::::::::...

Re: Javascript cross domain protection

I hope this can get added since html5 seems to be what most are turning to now that Flash is getting phased out. It's trivially easy with the "open-source" nature of javascript for a script-kid to clone a website and make any changes he likes to the client behaviour. Having a Origin check ...

Javascript cross domain protection

How can we make sure only clients coming from specific domains are allowed to connect when using a javascript client? When using Flash we have the crossdomain.xml to configure, is there something similar for javascript clients? I primarily want to prevent users from running a modified client from lo...

Yes that sounds like a good improvement.

ArrayBuffer support

Is regular js Arrays the only accepted type to interact with SFSDataType.BYTE_ARRAY in SFSArrays/SFSObjects? If so, I'd like to suggest you add ArrayBuffer (or at least a typed array) as a valid type as well in order to avoid unnecessary data conversions when the original data is already in ArrayBuf...

Re: Max Room Variables not being set

Yes, the server has been restarted multiple times since that setting was configured.

Re: Max Room Variables not being set

This problem still exists with version 2.13.3.

I have changed the max variables to 20, and that shows up in the admin tool but all rooms created (server-side) still get 5 as the limit.

I had to implement the same workaround to get it working.

Re: Smartfox SocketAcceptor Error

But that will count actual open files in the filesystem, not just connections. What's the point of counting local files? I just replied to what steve13627 asked for. Maybe he suspects his problem with too many open files is linked to his extension code and wants to see what files are actually open ...

Re: Smartfox SocketAcceptor Error

Could you tell me how to check "How many file descriptors is opening by SFS server" Use the ps command to find the PID of the smartfox process: ps -aef | grep {process-name} Then use the lsof command to list the files in use lsof -p {process-id} If you only want the number of open files, ...

Re: Suggestions for the new javascript api

 How about putting up the javascript client on GitHub? That way it would be easier to report issues and submit pull requests with improvements/fixes. I recently had to tweak the client (to show more debug info for larger packets), something which others might have use for as well. Having the c...

I'm not OP. :D I was just pointing out a possible cause for the problem.

Re: “unrecognized selector ” error sometimes when -[SystemController handleMessage:]

There's a misspelling at the top the trace: "handleResonse"... Could that have something to do with it?
