Re: [NEW] API v1.7.11 released

We don't provide official TS definitions. We are aware of an independent project on NPM, but we never tested it and we don't know the level of compatibility with our current API version. This is the link to the mentioned project: https://www.npmjs.com/package/@types/smart-fox-server

Re: Older HTML5 client API that matches TS definitions

Hello.
We don't know anything about the project you linked. Without the authors mentioning it, it is impossible to say which version of our API it refers to. Maybe you can try contacting the author?

Re: New to Webpack, help...

Could you please send a test project (using classic API, not webpack) showing the error? We would like to further investigate it.

Re: New to Webpack, help...

I thinks this might be an issue with the generation of the source map of your project, which in turn should embed the API source map. I suggest to follow the setup of the project in this example: http://docs2x.smartfoxserver.com/ExamplesJS/connector-npm-webpack In any case you are not forced to use ...

Re: SFS2X.LoginRequest is not a constructor.

Can you please send a test case?
Because we tested the new API in all our examples, and they work as expected. No "not a constructor" error ever.
Maybe something else is going on?

[NEW] API v1.7.11 released

We just released v1.7.11 of the SFS2X JavaScript client API, which fixes a blocking issue with Internet Explorer 11.
You can find the new version on the download page as usual: https://www.smartfoxserver.com/download/sfs2x#p=client

Re: Internet Explorer 11 not supported?

Actually we are investigating if we can avoid forcing developers to import a separate library.
If everything works well we will release an API version including the polyfill needed to fix the IE11 compatibility.
I'll let you know soon.

Re: Internet Explorer 11 not supported?

In case you are using npm (as described in this tutorial: http://docs2x.smartfoxserver.com/ExamplesJS/connector-npm-webpack), you should install the babel-polyfill library available in the npm repository and then import it using this statement at the very beginning of your entry file: import "b...

Re: Internet Explorer 11 not supported?

Ok, issue solved. You should load the babel-polyfill library before the SFS2X API file, like this: <script type="text/javascript" src="https://cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/babel-polyfill/6.26.0/polyfill.min.js"></script> <script type="text/javascript" src="libs/s...

Re: Internet Explorer 11 not supported?

Hi.
Our API were fully compatible with IE11 until v1.7.9.
It seems the new build system introduced in v1.7.10 has broken something, despite we didn't change the actual code.
Let us investigate more. We will let you know soon.

Re: how i can send String array to client unity

We tested this and everything works as expected. Server Extension : ISFSObject dataObj = new SFSObject(); Collection<String> name = new ArrayList<String>(); name.add("a"); name.add("b"); dataObj.putUtfStringArray("name", name); send("test", dataObj, sender); U...

Re: set proxy server for Elastic License validation from China

As already replied by email... Using a proxy server might work, supposed you configure the JVM running SFS2X appropriately and your proxy is not blocked by GFW. Please take a look at this URL, in particular paragraph 2.2: https://docs.oracle.com/javase/6/docs/technotes/guides/net/proxies.html To set...

Re: NullReferenceException and KeyNotFoundException thrown in EventDispatcher.DispatchEvent

This is what the DispatchEvent method mentioned in the stack traces does: public void DispatchEvent(BaseEvent evt) { EventListenerDelegate dlg = listeners[evt.Type] as EventListenerDelegate; if (dlg != null) { evt.Target = this.target; try { dlg(evt); } catch (Exception ex) { throw new Exception(&qu...
