Re: when use encryption there is error: Login rejected. Client is not using an encrypted connection:

Using this "if": if (!Application.isEditor) sfs = new SmartFox(useEncryption ? UseWebSocket.WSS_BIN : UseWebSocket.WS_BIN); else sfs = new SmartFox(); You are making the Editor connect over default socket, not WebSocket. Other than that, there's no difference. I'm not sure if and why your ...

Re: when use encryption there is error: Login rejected. Client is not using an encrypted connection:

For WebGL projects (both inside the Editor and in the browser), this what we do in our example projects: sfs = new SmartFox(useEncryption ? UseWebSocket.WSS_BIN : UseWebSocket.WS_BIN); ConfigData cfg = new ConfigData(); cfg.Host = hostName; cfg.Port = useEncryption ? httpsPort : httpPort; cfg.HttpPo...

Re: Duplicate/Inconsistent state received on Unity client

My opinion is that sometimes (maybe due to the framerate?) two variables update events related to the same client are received before the processEvents method is called. As event objects (added to the queue processed by that method) keep a reference to the variables (and not a copy), when the two ev...

Re: SFSDataType.UTF_STRING_ARRAY requires an array of string values

Hi, Thanks for help. But still My "typeof array " is coming object. and facing same issue In JavaScript typeof array always returns object. What if you create and send a simple array like this? var a = ['one','two']: var o = new SFS2X.SFSObject(); o.putUtfStringArray('k', a);

Re: SFSDataType.UTF_STRING_ARRAY requires an array of string values

That error could be triggered by the first element in the array not being a string.
Make sure that "opponentId.toString()" actually returns a string and not a null value.

Re: SFSDataType.UTF_STRING_ARRAY requires an array of string values

A super fast test in the browser didn't show issues: > o = new SFS2X.SFSObject() Object { _dataHolder: Map(0), _serializer: {} } >o.putUtfStringArray('k', ['uno','due']) undefined >o.getDump() " (utf_string_array) k: uno,due " What version of the JavaScript API are you using? Make sure you...

Re: Trouble building and running the example!!!

We never used FlashDevelop, so it is hard to help. Indeed you should get an HTML file referencing the SWF file. Maybe it is just a matter of configuring FlashDevelop to create it? Otherwise you can just create your own manually, embedding the Main.swf file. Additionally, to make the client part of t...

Re: WebSocket Connection Error

We noticed that the connection url uses the unusual "blob" system. Is there a reason for that? Could it be interfering with the certificate?
I suggest to test with a plain url.

Re: Suggestion: Minimal API library version

Thank you for the suggestion.
It is not that easy to split the API into multiple files, and it can be harder to maintain everything.
We may look into it in the future, but no guarantees we can do it.

Re: How to install/use SFS server with ReactJS

I think you can use our API with any framework. It is just a matter of understanding what framework is best for game development, but this goes beyond SmartFoxServer.

Re: How to install/use SFS server with ReactJS

We strongly suggest NOT to use ReactJS for a gaming project. That framework was born to create RIAs (Rich Internet Applications) and it has very little to do with games. You will obtain a much heavier code to be executed in browsers. That said, this is up to you of course. About how to use our API, ...

Re: setMyAvatarSkin functionality issues!

I think this is the issue: After the skin is changed by what seems to be a direct call on the client side it is also effected by the setUserVariables broadcast and applies the change again. Actually you shouldn't change the skin directly. You just need to call the setMyAvatarSkin method. This will c...

Not at the moment. We will look into it, but it seems less easy to do.
